How To Measure For Bras And Forms
|
|
Proper Bra Size:
Place tape measure under breast from center breast bone in front(P) to center spine in
back(Q). Double measurement, add 5 inches. This is your bra size.
Measuring Example:
If under breast measurement (center front to center back) is 14 1/2 inches, double it (14
1/2 inches x 2 = 29 inches). Add 5. Your bra size would be 34 inches. Note: If total is an
odd number (35 for example) select the next size larger (for 35, buy size 36). |
 |
Proper Cup Size:
Measure over fullest part of remaining breast from center breastbone in front (R) to
center spine in back (S). Double this number. If measurement is the same as bra size
determined above, or up to 1 inch more than bra size, order A-cup; if 2 inches more, order
B-cup; if 3 inches more, order C-cup; if 4 inches more, order D-cup; if 5 inches more,
order DD(E)-cup.
Proper Size Cup For Double Mastectomy:
Cup size is same as size worn prior to surgery. However, if you want to be larger or
smaller, select one size above or below your previous size. |
